Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has provided an update on the case of Margaret Nduta, a Kenyan woman sentenced to death by lethal injection in Vietnam for drug trafficking. The government has received official documents outlining Nduta's charges and is actively negotiating with Vietnamese authorities to seek clemency. Mudavadi expressed hope that these efforts will prevent her execution.
Additionally, Mudavadi revealed that over 1,000 Kenyans are currently incarcerated in various foreign countries for different offenses. He emphasized the importance of respecting local laws when traveling abroad to avoid legal troubles
