Heavy rains have caused severe flooding along the Narok–Suswa road, making sections of the highway impassable. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution or consider alternative routes until water levels recede.
Local authorities and the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) are monitoring the situation and coordinating response efforts. There are also report of an accident which is yet to be confirmed
