Police officers from Muthangari Police Station in Dagoretti Sub-County yesterday, 2 July 2026, conducted a targeted operation aimed at combating the sale of illicit brews, drug trafficking, and other crimes within the Kawangware area.
The operation led to the successful apprehension of eight suspects linked to various illegal activities, including the possession of 124 litres of illicit brew (Chang’aa).
All eight suspects were escorted to the station and placed in custody, pending processing and arraignment in court.
The National Police Service commends the officers for their swift action and reassures the public that these targeted operations will continue across the country.
